Q: What are your opening times?

We are available for appointments 24 hours a day. While our standard operating times are between 7am and 11pm, we can still see you at anytime you like and are more than happy to book patients in 24 hours a day. For appointments outside of our standard operating hours, we do charge a call out fee to be seen. Please note: The call out fee does include the cost for the consultation, X-rays and first line of treatment required to get you out of pain for one tooth. Treatments included can be complex extractions, composite fillings or even the first stage of a root canal to get you out of pain. Q: What is a dental emergency and how do you deal with one?

If you’re in pain, it’s an emergency. You can also visit our emergency dentist if you have chipped, cracked or knocked out a tooth. We also help patients who have lost fillings, crowns, veneers or bridges. If you’ve broken or lost your denture, this is also an emergency. And finally, if you have recently had an extraction and you’re still in pain or the extraction site won’t stop bleeding. The first step for dealing with a dental emergency is to call our team on 07759 998 555. We can advise you on home care methods while you wait to see an emergency dentist. Remember that we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so you won’t be waiting long to see a dentist.

Q: How do I book an appointment?

To book a same day appointment in Acton, please call us on 07759 998 555. Alternatively, you can email us on westlondon@nightanddaydentist.co.uk or message us via WhatsApp. We will send you a confirmation text as soon as your appointment is booked.

Q: What is the best method to deal with tooth pain at home until I can see a dentist?

Warm salt water rinses are very useful if you have swelling or some sort of infection, as salt water is a natural antiseptic and can reduce pain. Another temporary measure is taking over the counter painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, as this will slightly reduce any pain. Always consult with a professional before taking any medication.

Q: Why is toothache worse at night?

Most people suffer from dental pain at night as blood flow to the head increases when you lie down to sleep. This causes pain from the swelling to increase. To help manage this pain, we recommend seeing a dentist as soon as possible to diagnose the issue with X-rays and create a treatment plan.

Q: I am really scared of the dentist, can you help me?

The team at Night & Day Emergency Dentist are all experts in working with nervous patients to help them to overcome their phobias. We ensure that we provide a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere to avoid any additional anxiety. If you’ve had a bad experience with a dentist in the past, we want to help you to overcome your phobia. We will do everything we can to help. For example, if you are feeling anxious during the treatment and need us to stop, you can simply wave your hand and we’ll give you a moment. Q: I am on holiday in the UK, can I book an appointment?
